Greener Capital Partners Gets First Close, Sets Up Shop At ASU
Greener Capital, a venture capital fund focused on clean technology, said today that it has scored a first close on its second fund, Greener Capital Partners II, and set up shop in ASU's Scottsdale innovation center, SkySong. The venture capital firm said its second fund includes Arizona State University's IP management and technology company, Arizona Technology Enterprises (EzTE) as a limited partner. The new fund is sized at $33M. Greener Capital is headed by Thomas Cain, Charles Finnie, and Michael Katz. Cain was a co-founder of clean technology investor SAIL Venture Partners, Finnie was previously a General Partner at Crosslink Capital, and Katz was an investor and CEO in Oryxe Energy International.
