Circadence, a developer of WAN and network optimization software, said today that it has launched a new API targeted at Apple iOS applications. The firm said its software, which installs into Apple mobile apps, helps optimize application throughput through network connections. The firm claimed its software will enhance throughput form 100 to 4000 percent across network connections. The firm also offers a similar, Android API. Circadence is headed by Michael Moniz, and its board includes John Kelley, formerly of McData, and Michael Steed of private equity fund Paladin Capital, among others.
