Standing Cloud, the provider of Platform-as-a-Service applications which is headed by David Jilk, and
Green House Data, a provider of renewable energy powered data centers based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, said today they have linked together in a partnership. According to the two, they will provide a way for users to run Standing Cloud's PaaS products on Green House's infrastructure, to help cloud users who are concerned about both carbon footprint and costs. Financial details of the deal between the firms was not announced. The two said that they will offer up "Standing Cloud powered by Green House Data" to customers immediately. Standing Cloud offers up cloud-optimized versions of such web apps as WordPresss, SugarCRM, and other products.
