Orem, Utah-based AtTask, the developer of project management software, said this week that it has named a new CEO. The firm said Eric Morgan has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Morgan has served at such companies as NCR, Lawson Software, StatCom and AdvancedMD. Founder and former CEO Scott Johnson becomes Chairman. Morgan has been in Utah since 2008, when he took the helm of AdvancedMD, after private equity firm Francisco Partners acquired the company. AtTask has been ramping its operations and executives since business advisory firm SageCreek Partners began working on the company last November.
