Orbotix Swizzles Sphero Look And Feel
Boulder-based Orbotix, the developer of the Sphero robotic ball, is swizzling the design of the ball, and released a new rendering of what its new models will look like. The firm--which has yet to release the product to the public--showed the new design earlier this week, and also showed a new user interface for the ball. The company did not give any update on availability of the robotic ball, which it is taking reservations for now on its site. Sphero is headed by Paul Berberian, and venture backed by the Foundry Group. The company is an outgrowth of the TechStars incubation effort.
