Pelion Ventures, the venture capital firm which is a combination of Utah Ventures/UV Partners and Novell Ventures, has re-upped its investment in a developer of digital pen capture technology.
Adapx, which develops digital pen capture software used to directly capture data into such software as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, ArcGIS, and ERp and CRM systems, said it raised $5M in a new round Friday. The round came from Pelion Ventures, OVP Venture Partners, and Paladin Capital Group, who were all existing investors in the company. Pelion's investment in Adapx is overseen by Jim Dreyfous. Adapx is based in Seattle.
