Park City-based
XYDO said today that it has launched a new, social news site, which allows users to prioritize and comment on news. The site--which is very similar to the Digg and Reddit social news sites--features articles, features, blogs, and other news being shared and prioritized by users. The firm was co-founded by Eric Roach, the former CEO of Lance.com, and founder of Lombard Brokerage, and Cameron Brain, former founder of Open Box Technologies. According to XYDO, the social news service uses information about a user's Facebook, Twitter, and other social graph information to rank news items.
