Overstock.com, the online discount retailer, announced today that it has acquired the naming rights to the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, in Oakland, California. The facility will become the
Overstock.com Coliseum. The facility is the home of the NFL's Oakland raiders and the MLB's Oakland Athletics. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Overstock.com said the deal will provide it with branding opportunities through stadium signage, internet, television, radio and print promotion. The branding goes into effect immediately, with the Overstock name being featured at its first game this Friday with the Oakland A's take on Texas.
