Broomfield, Colorado-based Level 3 Communications disclosed this morning that it has extended its network infrastructure in Georgia. According to the company, it has constructed a full network point of presence and fiber node in the Atlanta data center of Global Net Access. Level 3 said the data center serves two of Georgia's largest hospital systems. Level 3 explained that GNAX/AtlantaNAP is one of the largest healthcare data centers in Georgia, and provides a location for statewide healthcare information exchange.
