SolidFire, a developer of cloud computing storage products, said Wednesday that it is setting up an office in Boulder, where it will be hiring engineering, marketing, and sales. The announcement came as part of a funding announcement for the Atlanta-based company, which said it raised $11M in a funding yesterday. The funding was led by New Enterprise Associates, and also included Valhalla Partners and Novak Biddle Venture Partners. SolidFire said its cloud storage systems provide primary storage for public cloud and enterprise private clouds, using a solid state architecture which includes virtualization capability.
