SparkFun Electronics, which operates an online, retail store selling electronics parts for projects, is targeting tinkerers with a "free day" event tomorrow, Thursday the 13th. According to the firm, it is planning on giving away $150,000 worth of equipment to customers and other visitors to the site, first come first serve. The company, which is headed by CEO Nathan Seidle, said it will give away up to $100 to each user of the site, depending on how long they've been a customer or on their answers to an electronics-themed quiz. This is the second year the firm has run the giveaway; last year, the firm gave away $100,000 in components.
