Phoenix-based WebPT, a developer of electronic medical records and documentations software for physical therapists, said this morning that it has raised $1M in a Series A funding round. The round came from Canal Partners, the investment firm of Jim Armstrong, the founder and chairman of JDA Software, as well as investor Todd Belfer. As part of the funding, Armstrong has joined the company's board of directors. WEbPT's softwar eis used by physical therapists to document their treatment of patients.
