Photobucket Hits 8 Billion Uploads
Denver-based Photobucket, the online photo sharing site, said today it has just hit a milestone of more than eight billion images uploaded to the site. Photobucket said the number counts from since it launched in 2003. The firm also said it sees more than four million images uploaded every day to the site, and that it has seen most of its recent upload growth from the Photobucket Mobile applications, which have grown 400 percent since January. Photobucket is headed by Tom Munro.
