OneRiot Refocuses On Advertising Network
Boulder-based OneRiot said today that it is has shifted away from its focus on realtime search, and said it is now focusing "all of our energy" on its online advertising platform. The firm said the move comes because its advertising platform has "taken off like a rocket". Oneriot had launched it ad network efforts in January, offering up advertisements pertinent to real-time topics. As part of the shift, OneRiot said it has redesigned its web site, redesigning the site on signing up advertisers and publishers for its ad network. The site previously focused on links to real time, breaking news driven by using data from Facebook, Twiter, and MySpace. The shifts come after layoffs and an executive changeover in July.
