Scalar Hires Utah Fund of Funds' Jeremy Neilson
Scalar Partners, a provider of business valuation and other services to private equity firms, said today that it has hired away Jeremy Neilson, the managing director of the State of Utah's private equity program, the Utah Fund of Funds. Scalar said that Neilson will join as a managing director, an dhead up a new LP Advisory practice. Neilson was the architect of the Utah Fund of Funds' creation and investment. Scalar has offices in both San Francisco and South Jordan, Utah, and is headed by Jeron Paul, who has previously served at vSpring Capital as a Principal.
