Phoenix, Arizona-based security software and service provider eEye Digital Security announced this week that it has launched a "Zero Day Tracker" service, which tracks zero-day security vulnerabilities. Zero day vulnerabilities are security issues which are taken advantage of the same day they are revealed, and are a major security hole which IT administrators have to deal with. According to eEye, the new service will provide up-to-date information about how to combat zero day vulnerabilities, including detailed analysis of each one, software, and how to mitigate against the issue. The firm said the service is free.
