Wilson Electronics, a developer of cell phone signal boosters, said Tuesday that it has received a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The firm said that U.S. Patent 7,684,838 is the fir's eigth covering the amplification of cellular signals. According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the patent was actually granted on March 23rd. James W. Wilson is named as inventor on the patent, which was originally filed in May of 2008 by law firm Workman Nydegger. Wilson said the patent is used in its current products, including its mobile signal booster the Sleek, and its iPhone specific product, iBooster.
