Advanced Energy: We're Number One In Inverters
Fort Collins, Colorado-based Advanced Energy Industries is bragging today that it is number one in the market in North America, for solar PV inverters. Citing numbers from IMS Research, the firm claims is has the highest overall market share in North America for the first half of 2010, and now holds a 24 percent share of the market. Advanced Energy's inverters are a key part of solar energy and solar panel installations, and convert photovoltaic, DC power to grid-tied AC power. The firm owns the Solaron and PV Powered inverter brands.
