JackRabbit Systems Gets $1.3M
Santa Fe, New Mexico-based JackRabbit Systems, a developer of online travel software, said today that it has raised $1.33M in a private equity funding. The funding was co-led by Kickstart Seed Fund and Sun Mountain Capital. JackRabbit said the funding will go to support national growth plans for the firm. JackRabbit Systems is headed by Andrew Van Luchene. The firm's software helps visitors find lodging via tourism boards, city sites, and other local travel websites. The deal looks to be among the first for Salt Lake City-based Kickstart Seed Fund, which is headed by Gavin Christensen. Techrockies had noted the deal shortly after its close in May.
