Groups Tie To Spur Arizona Startups
Two Phoenix-area industry groups said today that they are collaborating to help local early-stage companies with their startup efforts. According to the MIT Enterprise Forum Phoenix and ASU SkySong, they are collaborating in an effort to specifically prepare firms for Series A/B capital funding. The two groups said the effort will be headquartered at SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center. Among other efforts, the group said they have volunteer "Entrepreneurs in Residence" who will work directly with companies to help them become venture-fundable.
