AdvancedMD Taps Akamai To Accelerate Software
Salt Lake City-based AdvancedMD Software, a developer of electronic health record and billing software, is looking to improve the firm's software-as-a-service performance, via a link with Akamai. According to AdvancedMD, it has seen "significant performance improvements" to its service since adopting Akaamai. The firm said the use of Akamai has reduced bandwidth utilization of its software-as-a-service platform by 73 percent. Financial details of the link were not disclosed.
