Salt Lake City-based e-commerce retailer Overstock.com is launching a new effort to help small and minority-owned businesses, through a new initiative it's calling the "Main Street Revolution". According to Overstock.com, the initiative will link the firm with small and minority-owned businesses, to help them sell their products on Overstock.com and O.biz. The firm said it hopes to give small and minority-owned businesses exposure to national markets, and to reduce their supply chain costs. Overstock.com said it hopes to sign up enough businesses to create a "Main Street" store on Overstock.com--and also help lift the country out of the recession.
