Advanced Energy Gets Win In San Francisco
Fort Collins, Colorado-based Advanced Energy Industries, a manufacturer of photovoltaic inverters, said yesterday that it has been selected for an installation in San Francisco. The firm said its Solaron PV inverters are being used in a 5MW, solar project at the San Francisco Sunset Reservoir, which is being built by Recurrent Energy. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Advanced Energy's inverters are used to convert DC, solar energy into AC power.
