Chandler, Arizona-based
Microchip Technology, a manufacturer of microcontrollers and analog semiconductors, said this morning that it is in a partnership with Texas A&M University. According to the firm, it will help the university with undergraduate research, design projects, and engineering labs, by providing free software, product samples, and access to technical resources. The firm said the effort is with Texas A&M's Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Technology (EET/TET) Programs in the College of Engineering.
