MediProPharma Gains Funding
Salt Lake City-based MediProPharma, which is identifying and developing pharmaceuticals for the treatment of CNS diseases, has raised a round of angel funding, according to the Salt Lake Life Science Angels. The Salt Lake Life Science Angels said it led the round, which also included the Sierra Angels, Olympus Angels, Utah Angels, Kickstart Seed Fund, and individual investors. mount of the funding was not disclosed, however, a recent regulatory filing by the firm indicates that the funding round target was $770K, with $645K of that funding received in October. MediProPharma is targeting possibly treatments for Down syndrome, Alzheimer's disease, brain injury, epilepsy, depression, and pain.
