Denver-based
Quark, a developer of page layout software, said Thursday that it has launched a new, web-to-print service called
QuarkPromote.com, which will allow entrepreneurs and small businesses create their own, professional marketing materials. Quark said the new service is aimed at people with no previous design or printing experience. Quark's new service uses templates which can be customized with information from businesses, which can be printed using four-color, 2-sided printing via mail or through pickup at a nearby printing company. The firm said it is launching with partnerships with print franchises, including Allegra Network, AlphaGraphics, PIP, Signal Graphics, and Sir Speedy.
