Zayo Expands In Philadelphia
Louisville, Colorado-based Zayo Bandwidth, a provider of bandwidth infrastructure and operator of a fiber optic network, has expanded its services in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the firm said today. Zayo said it will deploy TDM and Ethernet services to an additional 300 wireless tower sites in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley area. The firm said it is looking to address the need of mobile carriers for grater bandwidth, as new mobile applications are requiring "significantly greater" bandwidth from wireless networks.
