Kemeta Gets Funding
Mesa, Arizona-based Kemeta, a firm developing hand held analyzers for measuring fat metabolism, has received funding from Catapult BioAccel. According to Catapult BioAccel, an Arizona nonprofit, it is providing Kemeta with a $200,000 grant from its New Venture Development Program, focused on commercializing Kemeta's technology. Catapult said Kemeta is working with Kronos Science Laboratories--also in Arizona--on cinical studies of its technology. Kemeta has previously raised funding from Dow Chemical.
