Ascent Solar Links With Goal Zero
Thornton, Colorado-based Ascent Solar and Goal Zero, a subsidiary of Spanish Fork-based Provo Craft and Novelty, Inc., are in a deal where Ascent will supply its flexible solar panels to Goal Zero. According to Ascent, it will supply up to 30,700 units of its module through 2010, for a custom electronic portable power product due at the beginning of next year. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Provo Craft's Goal Zero subsidiary develops are portable batteries, battery packs, and solar briefcases.
