Altus Poles, a developer of devices for creating high, strength-to-weight pole structures used for things such as power poles, has won the latest "Concept to Company" contest from Grow Utah Ventures, with
Sustainable Energy Solutions and
Anaerobic Digestion Technologies named as runner-ups. The competition, focused around Responsible Energy Production, is one of a series of events being held to spur entrepreneurship in Utah. The competition this time was sponsored by Grow Utah Ventures, Zions Bank, USTAR, Workman Nydegger, Ballard Spahr and CFO Solutions.
