Boulder-based WildCharge, a startup which is developing wire-free recharging technology for the consumer electronics market, said this week that it has released a new product which adapts popular devices to use its charging technology. The firm's new PowerDisc product allows users to plug an adapter into LG, Samsung, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, RIM and other devices to convert them into wire-free charging with WildCharge's charging pads. The firm is selling the devices to consumers, but is also looking for partners to incorporate its technology directly in electronics devices. The firm is backed by around $5M in angel investments.
