SageCreek Signs DeviceVM
Salt Lake City-based SageCreek Partners, the business consulting firm headed by former Altiris CEO Greg Butterfield, has signed on a Silicon Valley company developing operating system software. According to SageCreek, it has signed on DeviceVM, makers of "instant-on" software Splashtop, as a client. DeviceVM said it would use SageCreek's expertise and industry contacts to further its enterprise business. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Butterfield and a number of other ex-Altiris executives are offering their business expertise and contacts to firms through SageCreek.
