Denver-based digital mapping firm Intermap Technologies revealed Thursday that it will provide portable navigation image and elevation information to a European company specializing in vehicle navigation databases. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Intermap identified its new client as GIOVE, a subsidiary of Gruppo Elda Ingegneria founded in 1992. Intermap said it will supply GIOVE with elevation-shaded images of Germany and AccuTerra Europe contour data, which in turn will be integrated into GIOVE's MyNav portable navigation software.
