Infopia, a publisher of hosted e-commerce applications, shared its first-quarter revenue results Monday and also reported the hirings of three key executives. The Salt Lake City, Utah-based firm said it experienced a 24 percent increase in new sales bookings and a 20 percent rise in earned revenue for Q1 2009. Infopia noted that the hirings were the direct result of the sales growth and a "laser focus" on vertical market requirements. Among the new employees are: Jay Shaffer, vice president of marketing; Gary Kahl, vice president of professional services and support; and Brian Heidebrecht, senior director of channel sales.
