Tendril said today that the firm has rolled out a new version of the firm's residential energy management solutions, along with inking a partnership and creating a new partner program. Tendril said that it has released a version of its Tendril Residential Energy Ecosystem (TREE) platform, which is targeted at helping consumers understand their energy usage and control their costs. Among enhancements of the system are enhanced information and visualization of consumer energy use, controls for opting out of demand response events, and more. Tendril said that it now has deals with 29 utilities, one commercial rollout, and 10 field trials of its products. Separately, the firm said it has created a Strategic Partner Program aimed at technology and service providers, which includes developer resources, application programming interfaces (APIs), and ability to add profiles into its software. Finally, the firm said it has partnered with ITRON, a provider of metering, data collection, and utility software, to include its products in ITRON's OpenWay products.
