Innovasic Ships Eval Kit
Albuquerque, New Mexico-based Innovasic Semiconductor, a venture-backed firm developing microconstrollers and other ICs, said Tuesday that it has begun shipping an evluation kit for its Ethernet/IP solution. According to the firm, the evaluation kit--which is used by design engineers for prototyping--includes a Dual Real-Time Ethernet module, baseboard, software, reference design, and cables. Innovasic's products are used to replace "end of life" microcontrollers, and include development tools, embedded RTOS support, and other capabilities. The firm is venture backed by Grayhawk Venture Partners, Red River Ventures, Sensor Technology Development Fund, and Valley Ventures.
