Online web analytics software publisher Omniture Inc. revealed Tuesday that a leading Midwest newspaper has observed a significant boost in traffic for its Web site after utilizing an Omniture application. The Orem, Utah-based company said the paper, the Minnesota Star Tribune, noted a 50 percent increase in site traffic as well as rises in visitor engagement, stay time and revenues after the software transition. According to Omniture, the Star Tribune's gains were the result of integrating Omniture's SiteCatalyst Web analytics app with Clickability's on-demand Web content management platform. Omniture added that another of its products, Genesis, handled the integration. Genesis is a marketing platform that integrates complementary, third-party marketing applications with Omniture products, the company explained.
