Silver Creek Systems Inc. revealed Wednesday that the world's largest supplier of sugar and ethanol plant equipment will use Silver Creek's software solutions in hopes of improving its product data quality. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Silver Creek, a Westminster, Colo.-based provider of automated data-mastering applications, identified the new client as Dedini S/A Industrias de Base, a Brazilian firm responsible for 80 percent of that country's production of sugar cane-derived ethanol and about one-quarter of the world's supply. Silver Creek said its channel partner in Brazil, Ninecon, will provide Dedini with related consulting services.
