Tempe, Arizona-based LifeLock, a venture-backed firm which operates a identity theft prevention service, said Monday that the firm has scored a deal with Best Buy. According to LifeLock, Best Buy customers will be able to purchase its identity theft protection services online or on retail shelves. The service will be available through a $99 one-year membership, combined with an instructional video. Anticipated impact of the deal was not disclosed. LifeLock is venture backed by Goldman Sachs, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, and Bessemer Venture Partners.
