Boulder-based enableTV, a new startup focused on the cable industry, has purchased the Boulder Engineering Center and test lab of Solekai Systems Corporation. California-based Solekai said that its engineering center will be combined with the service business and assets from Vidiom Systems to create a new company, enableTV, which will provide professional services for the cable and IPTV industry. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Solekai explained that Tim Wahlers, the founder of enableTV, has purchased the services business and other assets from Vidiom Systems, and is combining it with Solekai's Boulder operations to create enableTV. Wahler was the founder of Vidiom Systems. According to the company, approximately 60 former Vidiom and Solekai employees will be located at enableTV's Boulder offices.
