Flypaper Studio Inc., a Phoenix-based publisher of rich-media content creation software, announced Tuesday that it has concluded a second round of venture financing after securing some $3.5 million. Flypaper said two previous investors were responsible for the Series B effort: Sierra Ventures of Menlo Park, Calif., and SCF Arizona of Phoenix. Flypaper closed a Series A round worth $3 million in February. The company said it used those initial funds to launch two rich-media editing programs, Flypaper and Flypaper Pro. Flypaper added that it plans to use the latest batch of money to fund marketing efforts and to develop new products and add-on features for existing titles, including an enterprise-focused application that supports CRM integration. Flypaper's products are used to create interactive presentations.
