Business optimization software publisher Omniture Inc. reported Tuesday that it has hired former Microsoft executive Eric A. McAllister as vice president and chief human resources officer. Omniture described McAllister as a 20-year HR management veteran who previously served as a senior human resources director for personal computing giant Microsoft Corp. At Microsoft, Omniture noted, McAllister supervised all human resources and organizational development initiatives for the company’s Windows Mobile and Worldwide Retail Sales divisions. He also managed international HR efforts for Microsoft's Entertainment & Devices division. Omniture is based in Orem, Utah.
