Local Matters Lands New Deal with Finland's Fonecta
Denver-based online media publisher Local Matters Inc. revealed Tuesday that it has expanded its relationship with a Finland-based directory service firm. Local Matters said the Fonecta Group has awarded Local Matters a contract to integrate its previously installed FlexiQ platform with Fonecta's new IP-based switching platform. The financial impact of the new business was not disclosed. Local Matters noted that the integration is underway and should reach production status later this year. Currently, 23 customers in 13 countries use the FlexiQ platform and related offerings, Local Matters said.
