Webroot Wins Stevens Aviation Account
Security software publisher Webroot revealed Tuesday that an aviation services provider, Stevens Aviation, is using Webroot's E-Mail Security application to eliminate spam and safeguard against virtual threats. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Webroot noted that, prior to deploying E-Mail Security, which is distributed as a hosted software-as-a-service, only some 7 percent of Stevens Aviations' e-mails were legitimate messages. Webroot said that Stevens was seeing 100,000 daily spam messages before the installation. Webroot is headquartered in Boulder, Colo.
