Denver-based firms PaySimple and IP Commerce said today that the firms are in a partnership. The companies said the two will combine PaySimple's credit processing services and IP Commerce's software platforms. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. PaySimple develops software used for collecting electronic payments and managing bills and vendors; IP Commerce develops software for the ecommerce market that allows for electronic payments via e-check, gift cards, and credit cards. IP Commerce is venture backed by Appian Ventures and Meritage Funds.
