Evolutionary Genomics Gets Venture Round
Lafayette, Colorado-based Evolutionary Genomics has recently raised a round of investment from Altira Group LLC, for the firm's biofuel feedstock technology. Amount of the funding was not disclosed. According to Altira, the investment came out of Altira's Technology Fund V, a $176M fund focused on venture capital for energy technology. Evolutionary Genomics is developing genetic technology focused on developing strains of biofuel feedstock with better yields.
