CSG Systems to Acquire DataProse for $39M
CSG Systems International, an Englewood, Colo.-based provider of outsourced customer interaction services, announced Thursday that it has agreed to acquire DataProse Inc., a statement presentment and direct mail services provider headquartered in Oxnard, Calif. CSG said it will pay some $39 million in cash for DataProse. The deal, CSG added, is expected to be final by April 30, pending regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. CSG said the transaction will broaden is suite of turnkey solutions for personalized statement presentment in both paper and electronic formats. DataProse, CSG noted, boasts some 130 employees and was established in 1990 by Xerox veteran Glenn Carter and Kinko's founder Paul Orfalea.
