Boulder, Colorado-based Collective Intellect, which provides services for tracking blogs and other social media sites for insights into companies and businesses, said Wednesday that it has raised $6.6M in a Series B funding. The round was led by Grotech Capital Group and also included Appian Ventures, Croghan Investments, and new investor Crawley Hatfield Capital, L.P. Collective Intellect said the funding would go to expand its marketing and sales intitiatives. The round brings the company's total raised to $9.2M, including a Series A investment in February of 2006.
