Webroot Rolls New Email Security Service
Boulder, Colorado-based Webroot said today that it has released a new, software-as-a-service offering to provide email security for small and medium businesses. The firm said its new product, Webroot E-Mail Security SaaS, is the result of its November 2007 merger with UK-based Email Systems. The offering includes spam and anti-virus filtering, along with the ability to add encryption and content control. Webroot did not disclose its pricing, but said that the product is available in the US, UK, and the Asia Pacific region.
