Chandler, Arizona-based Network Analysis, a developer of software for thermal modeling, has been acquired by MSC.Software, a California firm in the simulation software business. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. MSC.Software said that it will acquire Network Analysis and its expert technical staff for its SINDA/G advanced thermal modeling software. That software is used for designing commercial and defense satellites and other products. Network Analysis was founded in 1982, and counts Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Hamilton Sundstrand, Raytheon and NASA as customers.
